Bhargav Gandhi: A Multifaceted Musician

Bhargav Gandhi, a Goa-based musician and bandleader, brings a unique blend of talents to the stage. He is a skilled composer, arranger, music producer, and performer, equally adept at creating music and captivating audiences.

Bhargav's passion for music began early, and his dedication has been recognized through numerous accolades. Here are some of his remarkable achievements:

  • First place winner in the Lok Vadya competition at the Taluka Yuva Utsav in 2013.
  • Awarded first position for Lok Vadya by the Ramat Gamat Youth and Cultural Association, Gandhinagar in 2010.
  • Secured third place in a regional instrument competition at the state level organized by the Youth Welfare and Cultural Association at Godhra in 2010.
  • Second place in a Lok Vadya competition held at Bharuch and organized by the District Youth Festival in 2009.

Bhargav's impressive resume extends beyond competitions. He has played harmonium for music director Dr. Ramajeevan for a recording featured in the movie "Ranga," composed by Munnaji Shoukat Ali and sung by Bollywood playback singer Vaved Ali. He has also performed for Grammy Award-winning composer A.R. Rahman and CalArts President Mr. Ravi Rajan at K.M. College of Music and Technology, Chennai.

Bhargav's musical journey also includes a performance with Ishrath Rahman, sister of A.R. Rahman, for a live broadcast and recording held at Doordarshan Tamil on the occasion of Muharram. His talent has been further acknowledged with a trophy for Best Instrumentalist at an event organized by the Tamil Directors Association.

Vilandi Kulkarni: A Disciple of Melody

Vilandi Kulkarni, a captivating flautist, brings the essence of classical Indian music to the evening. As a disciple of the legendary Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia, Vilandi's flute carries the weight of tradition and the promise of innovation.
