Recently, he recorded an emotional song for director Vishal Gaikwad's Hindi film APIK. Javed Ali said that “I was briefed about the subject of the film. And I strongly feel producer Prafulla Kharkar and director Vishal Gaikwad will make a meaningful film that will entertain the audience and will also give an important message. The song I recorded is a very beautiful emotional song which is about the relationship between father and son”
