New online series discussions #MyIdentityMyPride from this Sunday

"Creativity is the awakening of the consciousness ", perhaps this was the idea that brought a few creatively inclined people together for an unique digital event.


Renowned photographer Somsubhro Sarkaar's award winning series #MyIdentityMyPride and Cinema4Screen, a Platform for Media Education, Workshop, Film Festival, Networking & Consultation have joined together on the women's day fortnight and present an online photography exhibition that will be supported by a series of discussions with the real characters like Jutikaa Mahanta and their experiences and how it enhanced creative thinking. How their unflagging determination has carved a whole new path in society and inspired the population. 

Cinema4Screen & Cinema4Screen Film Festival, in association with #MyIdentityMyPride is coming up with an online series of discussions conducted by Dr. Sudipta Roy Chowdhury starting this Sunday. 

Jutika Mahanta,  a media professional, is not only a mother to her child. She hails from Assam. Throughout her personal and professional life she never forgot her roots or her responsibility towards the people of North East. She even left her high profile job in Mumbai to support the Assamese population with her initiatives and unflagging determination at times approaching corporate houses to help people who come for cancer treatment to the city. Her smiling face, dedication and simplicity makes her stand apart.

The online exhibition will be starting from  20th February 2022 and will go on till 7th March 2022 and finally it will celebrate women's day on 8th march 2022 through a panel discussion with prominent women from the series.


The whole online event has been jointly conceptualised , coordinated and presented by ace photographer Somsubhro Sarkaar, founder & director of Cinema4screen, Anshuman Chaudhary and professor of media & communication, Dr Sudipta Roy Chowdhury.
